3D is a lovely effect on a film if used correctly, but to me, is still only used by studios as a gimmick. With a film like Avatar, the feeling and otherworldy experience truly was enhanced by the extra dimension, this being a perfect example of when and where 3D is most effective. But as with any new feature, it will be used and exploted to just get more punters through the door and make them pay more money per ticket.
I say nay to the 3D, sorry. A film to me is about the characters and story, not effects,
