About Us
Digging Your Scene is a group of individuals involved in marketing and production for the UK music and film and TV industries, with links to every other creative industry area – theatre, fashion and art. We’ve worked alongside established artists and record producers over the last 20 years, as well as working on campaigns for some of the most high profile film projects in the last 10 years. In each case, we’ve dealt with people in pretty much every role within these industries whether its a creative role or administration – from runner right up to marketing director.
Why?
We know networking is key to the creative arts industry, whether its to get your foot in the door somewhere or to secure a good business deal even once your established. We believe there has never been a more relevant time socially, technically and politically for young creative people to network with each other start making these connections now. You are the future of the creative industries and we feel there isn’t enough of the right sort of support for young creative people out there. We want to help you progress and give you the tools to get on to the next stage of your careers.
How?
Whatever your industry, you will have to work with a diverse range of people with different skills – musicians have to work with managers, stylists and photographers; film makers have to work with actors, make-up artists and producers; fashion designers have to work with models, buyers and event management; and so on. By seeking out and collaborating with these people now, you can give yourself a head start in your career and have an edge over everyone else.
